Grade Reports & Accountability

Transparency with grades and progress are crucial to your success. However, we go much further than simply reporting your overall grade. 24/7 access to grades is important, but with a self-paced class you need access to more. And we have you covered!

  • What is my quarterly grade?
  • What percentage of the class is finished, and how much more must I complete?
  • Do I have any missing work affecting my grade?
  • Am I on pace to finish the class by my goal completion date?

We answer all of these questions (and more) in our grade reporting. And best yet, we email your grade report to you, your parent, and guidance counselor (if applicable) every two weeks.

Everyone is kept in the loop. Grade reporting made easy!

Learning Coach

Sometimes it’s good to have an extra set of eyes on your progress. Let us introduce you to your Learning Coach (your parent/guardian).

Throughout the class, we’re in email communication with your Learning Coach (you can continue referring to them as Mom, Dad, or whatever you may call them).

We keep them updated on your grades, progress, and what you’re learning so they have the tools to help keep you accountable and successful in the class.

Your next dinner conversation may have your Learning Coach asking you questions about a certain ASL topic. You’ll learn a ton of ASL, and your coach may learn some ASL too!

Student Spotlight

In The News

Our students enjoy opportunities beyond our core ASL curriculum.  Once you get involved in our program, you might find yourself using your new ASL skills in really cool ways.  From ASL music videos to signing the national anthem, and perhaps even being spotlighted on the evening news!

Our students at Mount De Sales Academy in Macon Georgia were showcased on their local news, Channel 13 WMAZ.

On The Football Field

Students with an interest to learn the national anthem in ASL have opportunities to perform before their high school’s sporting events.  This is a completely optional activity, but for those with a desire to perform can use their new ASL skills in front of a large crowd.  It helps celebrate unity and community through the beauty of ASL.

In Music Videos

ASL is a beautiful, visual language and it can be used in artistic interpretation of music.  Students can participate in a project where they learn to perform a song in ASL.

Students performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing”

Students performing “Sing Wherever I Go”
